About Gina

Gina is an architect and project manager who has always been fascinated with artistic creation especially collaging. She started exploring this form of expression while she was in university and helped her challenge her design proposals. She found new inspiration on how to proceed with her project through cutting, pasting and exploding, physically altering the shapes of her designs to generate new ones. Since then she’s used this method in her personal work to convey a satirical view on current world events.

She’s using and spans across many methods of expression, from handmade and printmaking to digital collages and uses multiple sources such as newspapers, magazines or targeted photos mostly in commissioned artworks.
